Well, if you were to try and search the internet for a list of these ten famous paintings, you will find that there are actually different lists to be found. Different rankings and different paintings make it on different lists and this can very well confuse a person regarding which list to really trust for such an endeavor.

5.    Girl with a Pearl Earring – Also another very popular painting that you can easily see in any top ten list, this painting by Johannes Vermeer is considered a mystery.
